What is the value of education in our lives?

What is the difference between an educated and an uneducated person?

               During the course of education,If the students mug up the facts and forget after exams then that education will not make any difference in their lives, in our society , in our world ( because we are living in a global village) And more over it is like buying a certificate with some percentage of marks at a cost of 1 yr or 2 yrs  of time that depends upon the duration of the course and looking for great things to happen in their lives, we can call them as certified illiterates.

v Certified illiterate is a person who has a certificate that he or she has done certain course or program but he or she doesn’t have any knowledge on that.

  

So what is the main purpose of education?

It is all about 3 things 1. Knowledge,

                                       2. Attitude,

                                       3. Skill.

Knowledge: knowledge means awareness about something. Great people used to say knowledge is divine i.e we need to improve it day by day. Knowledge means it is not mugging and remembering the facts. We need to apply our knowledge to do great things (or doing small things in a great way) otherwise it is of like black money , no use for the people so it should be in use. Example: you know the fact that smoking kills, but if still you are smoking and allowing others to smoke means you are not applying your knowledge.

Attitude:  the way you think and feel about something or someone. It is of two types , one is positive attitude and other is negative attitude. In each and every situation how you are thinking is very important . if your attitude is positive that will be good for you and others also. If your attitude is negative it will harm you and the society in addition. For example  if you are feeling smoking is not at all bad and you smoke in a busy road that means you are harming yourself and the others also who are inhaling that smoke. And you may find many examples like this.

Skill : the ability to do something that comes from training , experience, and practice. The same thing will be done differently by different people. And we do appreciate the best. So what is difference between the best and the worst? , it is just practice. Many great speakers said they are not great in the first time and what made them the great is practice.

    So question yourself..

         Do you really learning?,

         Do you really educating yourself?,

         Do you really using your time productively ??

v Marks vs knowledge

                   Understanding the concept gives you the knowledge, mugging up the facts gives you marks or grades in the exams which gives success in your exams and may  makes you happy for some time(you feel.) like a drunkard person who will be happy for some time , but once he comes out of the state of drunkenness he will be normal. But knowledge makes you successful in your life, and gives you life time happiness and this is the true happiness.

Successful person:

Everybody wants to become a successful person? Don’t you?

Does the past and present successful people scored high marks in exams?

Do they have knowledge or marks?

Yes, they have some knowledge and make use of that, and get succeed. so try to acquire knowledge not marks. If you have marks without knowledge you can’t become a successful person, before that you can’t become an educated person.

That means the world needs the knowledgeable persons not certified persons.

The world needs innovations not photocopies

so my dear friends  try to gain knowledge and do great things and become a successful persons.

              Now a days if we ask any person what do you want to become? He or she will reply as either the job/ profession which is in boom now or which everybody feels a big job.

My dear friends, there is no small job or big job there is only THE GREAT JOB.

Does abdul kalam did big job or great job ?

Does AR Rehman doing big job or great job?

Successful people did great jobs not big jobs..

So what is great job ?

The job which was truly assigned to you,

The job which selects you.

The  job where you can put your complete energy , where you can dedicate your complete time,where you can do meditation ‘in doing your job.

Meditation means where you are completely focusing in single object or subject.

So my dear friends, do you want to choose a career which was so popular today or you are so passionate about?

  

Whom the world needs??

Only certain people like engineers, doctors.

Does this world works only because of engineers, doctors?

Doesn’t  the world  needs other skills, other professionals to make happy world?

My dear friends , are you living happily only because of some professionals like engineers, doctors, lawyers?

Don’t you need other professionals??

        So my dear friends there is no small job, or big job, but how you are performing the job is important. How much you like your job is important. For example on an average barber gets 500/- rupees per day but you know the skilled barber we call him as famous hair stylist  earns more than 10000/- per day. That means all you need is the skill, the interest in your chosen career. Then definitely you will perform a great job in this world.

There is recognition for all the fields, all the professions.

All the successful people were not belongs to a single category, a single profession.

They succeed because they believe in their talent, knowledge but not on particular job, particular profession.

Some are recognized by noble prizes, some are by pultizer prises,some are by arjuna awards , and many more ….

That means there is recognition and need of every profession in this world.

Just imagine the world without farmers, without teachers without doctors, without barbers , how horrible it is.

   

How to choose a career??

You need to choose the career based on your interests, talents, strengths..

You need have complete interest in the area you chosen; you need to show complete faith in your area you chosen

My dear friends, the biggest crime is doing perfectly the work which is not assigned to you , don’t try to imitate others , if you like any qualities in them learn those and practice but don’t imitate them, don’t become a photocopy of them. Because they have their own life purpose, you have your own life purpose.

 For example one day you come across an article on sachin, and you were inspired by him. Then don’t try to become another sachin, but you can find and learn and practice the qualities which made him successful in cricket. If you also like cricket then you can try to become another cricketer and moreover you need to show your own style in your game but don’t imitate sachin.

Career is your choice.

Success is your choice.

Happiness is your choice.

So my dear friends, If you have talent in some particular field, but you have chosen some other field , it’s a big crime , which was done by you, for yourself and  ultimately for the society, for the world.

Don’t be hurry in choosing your career, in knowing your life purpose.

Take your time…. Think…. Think….analyze….

God tells to every animal about their life purpose except to human..

We need to find out our life purpose ourselves.
